Dobrá Tea is a bohemian-style tearoom & café in downtown Ashland, Oregon that offers freshly brewed loose-leaf teas, food, and pastries. Traveling to tea-growing countries every year, we source teas directly from tea farmers around the world including those in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Cute little cafe and tea shop with some tea accoutrements which is what I went in for, specifically a Matcha tea bowl. They had several to chose from and I bought one. On their somewhat limited menu they had baklava which is a favorite treat of mine - if it is made well. That is, with honey rather than sugar syrup. I ordered one and found that it was one of the best I’ve had in 50 yrs! Perfectly made, perfectly crunchy and only with honey as the sweetener. It reminded me of baklava I could buy in a store in San Francisco years ago owned by an Arabic family, or what is offered in a sweet shop in Jordan; or a homemade version done right. 😋 Next time I go to Ashland I’ll be sure to stop in and maybe also buy some tea which I’ve heard is an excellent & carefully procured selection.
What a lovely tea shop! There was such a wide selection of teas from around the world and the food menu was very impressive. Lots of vegetarian-friendly/vegan-type options of salads, lentils, soups, etc. A perfect spot to unwind and catch up with friends - the atmosphere here is wonderful and the friendly staff and delicious foods and teas will make this a frequent stop for us next time we pass through Ashland! If you're walking in Lithia Park or downtown, consider stopping in here to wet your whistle 😉
Parking: There is a small lot shared with a few other businesses less than 50 feet away. Ashland doesn't seem terribly busy even on a Saturday afternoon so I'm sure parking isn't much of an issue around here. Proximity to the local park makes this spot a great walking destination.
Great place to hang out, get a healthy bite and beverage...and most of all...relax in the chill vibe. If your legs can take it...sitting on cushions at floor tables is an extra fun option. Love having a Bell at the table to summon the waitress and not be interrupted.... the server only comes when called....brilliant!
Unique and delightful! There is an extensive list of exotic and bubble teas as well as several lemonades, tea accessories, and food items. I ordered the lavender lemonade which was perfect for the summer heat, and the harmony bowl which was a delicious vegan and gluten-free dish. 👌 The service was very friendly, but my food order did take quite a while. The seating inside is very cute with tables, an extended booth with several desks/small tables, and floor cushion seating on a raised platform. Customers were working, reading, and out on dates. Overall great spot!
