One of the people in our party loves pubs and really wanted to check this out for lunch. The pub is very large and has all kinds of memorabilia all over the walls. It's a really cool pub! The food was amazing! I ordered a cheeseburger, and it was delicious! Others in our party ordered fish and chips, beef pasties, bangers and mash, and a fish bento bowl. Everything was delicious! A little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it! Our server was the only one working the entire pub, probably because it was late afternoon. He was earning his pay! Service was great and it didn't take long to get our food. It is worth a visit if you find yourself in Ashland, OR!
Dietary restrictions: My daughter is dairy free, and they were able to accommodate her meal by providing a bunch with no dairy, which is always wonderful! She loved her burger!
Wonderful place for a drink and a bite in a nice, cozy Irish setting.
Love Mum's Vanilla Bread Pudding with a Guinness Stout. This is living the good life 🤠
Much of Ashland is British-themed because of the awesome Shakespeare festival, but somehow it manages not to feel cheap or kitschy. This is a great example: it absolutely has the feel of an authentic, community-minded old-school British-style public house. On the night we visited, a good duo played classic rock covers and the pub welcomed a large group of hikers who had been kicked off the Pacific Coast Trail due to smoke. I enjoyed the bangers and mash. It would have been nice to have a few modern NA options, as Kaliber is a bit 1st-gen (especially since there's a real Guinness 0.0 now). Awesome experience overall, though!
